This in my own design shape for a small-bodied guitar. Loosely based on the late 19th Century Martin 1, this body style has a classic look and is comfortable to play on the couch, or take on the road. Lots of sound for a smaller-bodied guitar. Comes with slotted headstock.
This shape is from the pre-war Martin 00 guitars. All pre-war specifics with bracing style and brace width. This guitar bridges the gap between my parlour size and my OM. Comes with slotted headstock.
The orchestra model is heralded as the ideal body shape and size for the fingerstyle player. The shallower depth allows for an instant response but the size still offers volume and tone. This guitar shape allows for a very balanced sound.
This is the world's most popular size and shape for and acoustic guitar. The large size of the upper and lower bouts, in addition to the depth of the body, contribute to a big sound with prominent bass and sparkling trebles.
I build twelve string guitars with either the dreadnought or OM body design.
